Worldwide first all-electric Formula car to be ready for pit stop

Formula One is no doubts one of the most spectacular sport in the world. But it seems strange in terms of Formula One competition to race an electric car. However, a student team from the University of Hertfordshire has broadened their horizon to be racing the worldwide first all-electric Formula car.

What we see is the worldwide first zero-emission race super car which is powered by nothing but electricity. The race car is capable of reaching a speed of 55 miles per hour. This cost efficient super car turns to be an ecologically friendly model which has marvelous looks.

This high tech all-electric race car has been racing starting from 16 to 19 July and won the Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technology award received for its environmentally friendly driving performance. Another conspicuous feature of the race car includes its costs which on average are approximately a penny per mile.
