Plus, using a tried and true platform, the Lotus Europa, Chrysler can save money and get this sporty EV on the road fast. The heart and soul of this two-seater is a 200 kW electric motor, lithium-ion battery pack and a sophisticated controller to manage the energy flow. The system develops an impressive 268 horsepower and a neck snapping 480 lb-ft of torque. Now, that’s an environmentally conscious sports car.
